Issue: Pressing “Y” on a game without a core assigned freezes the system
When I press Y on a game to collect it (favorite), I get the error that the game doesn’t have an assigned core/system. Then it gets stuck there.
Attempting to hard reboot the system (hold down power button) just results in a backlit grey/black empty screen. Have to remove battery.
When you are stuck in these kind of situations you first need to try the safe restart and safe shutdown hotkeys, check them in Welcome | muOS, if those don’t work, you will need to use the reset button. Powering off by holding the power button is disabled. If even after using the reset button you are still stuck with a broken boot, remove the sd card and press reset 3 times to turn off the device.
