not sure if possible: love the ease of the media player but it’d be awesome to have a simple interface that shows the fast forward, pause, rewind features - maybe something visually similar to vlc or windows media player?
I believe if you switch to mpv instead of ffplay you get an On-Screen Display similar to what you are talking about.
