When connected to HDMI, sound only comes out through the built-in speakers

I am using RG34XXSP.
I’m currently using loose goose and updated from golden goose.
There is no sound through HDMI, only through the built-in speakers.
I also tried changing to external sound in the settings menu.
It seems like it’s not a problem with the device since it works fine on the stock MOD OS.
I’m using the loose goose with great satisfaction. I hope the problem is resolved quickly.

I had the same issue. I had to roll back to Golden Goose for this to work.

Are either of you using, or have installed previously, the external Bluetooth app by any chance?

We’ve had some reports that this app is messing with audio output in some situations, and that even uninstalling it doesn’t resolve the issue in some cases, requiring a reflash

I have the Bluetooth app installed on the RG35XXSP, but not on the RG28XXSP.

That said, I am running dual SD cards on both, and copied a lot of the files from the SP SD card 2 to the 28 SD card 2. So maybe I carried something over with it.

I’ll try to re-flash the 28 again when I get the chance.

you can set the audio output in the bluetooth app. I would try that first.

I am not using any Bluetooth applications.
I installed the Golden Goose version and just updated it to the Loose Goose version.
As I said, an issue occurred that wasn’t present in the Golden Goose version.
I’ve posted about this in other communities as well, and everyone complained of the same symptoms.
I don’t want to bother changing to another OS.
So, I’m waiting for it to be fixed in the next version.
