Great! I created a couple of scripts a month ago (with some help from Claude  ) to do the exact same thing. Thanks for integrating it in the MuOS environment. I still don’t know how WIFI Hotspot is not an included option in the Web Services menu of MuOS.

It is very convenient to be able to create a wifi hotspot for some Netplay with friends without having to have a known wifi network around.

Haha. Yeah.
Thanks for your support!!!
Since muOS has a development plan, and hotspot is a low priority feature, it is not yet integrated into muOS.

Do you have any update plans? It doesn’t seem to work on the latest OS.

I heard that Canada Goose will be released this weekend, so it would be great if you could also check that and update it. Thanks for your reply.

Tested it on my end, too. I can confirm that it isn’t working with Canada Goose.

Yeah. I tried on H700. Maybe trimui is not working yet.

Script ran well for me on Goose and seems to function well. I look forward to trying netplay.

Are we able to SFTP into our device through the hotspot? I have no problem running solid explorer on my mobile phone when both are on my home network. When I connect the phone to the muOS Hotspot I can s me to sftp in. I’d be a super handy way to get downloads and stuff when out and about. Download on phone → Pair to Hotspot → Move new content to muos. Maybe this works and I’ve done something wrong. I’ve tried various combinations of 192.168.1.1, 192.168.89.1.1, port 2022, 9090.

Its a nice app either way but any help with my goal here would be appreciated. Thanks.

SFTP works and I tried it on Pixiel, The thing is I need to disable 4G before connecting. Because when my phone connects to a Wifi network and that wifi network has no internet, it automatically disconnects. Please try to disconnect 4G and try again…

Also with Netplay feature. The wifi sharing device needs to be set as host in retroarch.
