WiFi on RG35xx (I suppose 2004..)

Ok, sorry if this is an obvious point but I’m kinda new to muOS and custom os in general for RG35xx. My device behind is marked as RG35xx+, so I supposed that it was a Plus. In no way I managed to get WiFi to work, nor the original FW shows WiFi/Netwrok options. Ok, next step is open the device, and I see inside that PCB is marked 2004-…. .

Goo, now I suppose this is a RG35xx 2004 so no built in WiFi. That explain why muOS would not find any WiFi network.

To my understandig I can still use muOS with a USB dongle.

I downloaded the proper 2004 version of muOS, connected a usb-c OTG adapter, conencted a WiFi adapter from Alpha (tomorrow I sould receive one from TPLink TL-WN725N). But up to now I can’t find a way to setup netwrok if I use muOS for the RG35xx 2004 variant…. how does that configuration works? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance !

You have to go to Task Toolkit within Applications. Then choose Network Tasks and select the enable Wi-Fi option.

Please know that only a small subset of dongles will work correctly with these devices. I would recommend the TP-Link TL-WN725N.
