Xtream links

I love using the native M3u player for my IPTV links. Was wondering if it is possible to add an option for Xtream links? They’re channel playlist that require a username/password to access a server I believe.

Would the OS even be able to handle it if there was, say 100 channels in the playlist? I know there’s an existing Iptviewer app but it’s limited and only allows m3u link channels and doesn’t take Xtream links.

Any feedback to my curiousity is appreciated.

Probably better to have them as individual playlists within the content explorer.

As for support, I’m not familiar with these types of URLs but perhaps as long as you add the URL with the username and password parameters it should work standard? It would be up to mpv for support as all we are doing is passing the information along to it.
