I received a new RG40XX-V yesterday, having lost mine and I can confirm the black screen/no light problem :frowning:

Knuli works correctly (maybe there could be a hint of what’s going on in their latest release)

I received a new RG40XX-V this week as well. Similar Issue where the new Loose Goose muOS is just staying on black screen. I am wondering if anyone has had success with getting Loose Goose to work on a new RG40XX-V device and can recommend a fix or if we simply need to wait for the next release.

maybe we need to send some device have issue to muos staff so they can check and see what going on, in last post have someone who hve this issue send device to muos staff and they found solution to fix it

It looks like they have the fix for the devices it was expected to be in the loose goose release but maybe we need to wait for the next one. I just wanted sure if someone has successfully been able to get Loose Goose working on the latest RG40XX devices.

Well as somebody who literally just bought new 40V and 40H devices, directly from the Anbernic Aliexpress store, in hoping to fix this “issue”. UNFORTUNATELY these devices worked straight out of the box no issues.

The “updates” that Anbernic put out may have some changes but would not have any affect on how or why MustardOS doesn’t boot.

The previous issue was related to a unfortunate screen issue, which was rectified very quickly and easily.

So all I can say is that it is unfortunate that it doesn’t work with devices, and perhaps one day it will work again. But for now you can try another CFW like Knulli or Rocknix, or stick with StockOS.
