[35XXH] Mixed inputs in Content Explorer

Device: Anbernic RG35XX-H
MuOS version: 2601.0 JACARANDA (Build ID ec9e9f32)

Problem description:

When navigating in the Content Explorer, the inputs for certain actions seem to be mixed up. For example, according to the guidance documentation (Assigning a Core to a directory), you should press the Select button to assign a core to a directory. However, when I press Select, MuOS performs the Refresh action instead. To assign a core to a directory, I have to press the X button.

As far as I remember, I have not changed any button assignments. In fact, I am not even sure whether this behavior can be modified in MuOS.

I have checked the Button Tester app, and all inputs are recognized correctly, so I have ruled out a hardware issue with my device.

If it matters, I am using a fresh install of Jacaranda and the GamePal‑Sober Horizontal theme. Additionally, I have tried the same core‑assignment operation on a RG35XX SP, and the behavior there is as expected: the Select button properly opens the core‑assignment menu.

I checked the issues forum beforehand to see whether anyone else had reported this, but it seems there are no existing reports about this issue.

This is not an issue, you will see that the documentation was released far before the release of jacaranda, which changed the button from select to x. The documentation is still correct for goose and pixie (the current muOS versions at the time of the docs writing).

X is now the correct button, the docs will surely be updated at some point but nothing to worry about you haven’t messed any settings.
