Pico-8: Splore times out and cannot find games. The Portmaster works, as does downloading cores, so it has internet.

I’m in the Splore screen, but when I press Update, the message “Timeout” appears without anything loading. I followed all the steps in the post, but I can’t find the core ‘PICO-8 (External)’ — instead I have ‘Pico-8 Standalone’ and ‘Pico-8 Pixel Perfect Standalone’. When I go to Info, it shows as ‘Ext-pico8-scale’.

Did you install a purchased version of Pico-8?
