Hi! I previously had my box art skraper with no preview or splash, wanted to add add the splash an preview so fired up scrappy. First i did a select few, chrono trigger, ff7, golden axe, (gotm) gods just to see if i liked it. I have the box art and the splash screens, settings enabled preview, but no previews load when hovering over the games. Is it 1Did the ones i pick not have previews, do i need to enable or change something? Definitely not a deal breaker, but the boxart and splash go up. Figured id all. (On a rg40xxv running pixie)
Have you assigned a system and core for this particular folder? Or at least launched a game so it might automatically assign a system and core?

I have cores assigned for all systems. I loaded all those games listed in my post, they start and Boxart shows, then splash screen will… splash for the 1-2 seconds until game loads. Just thought previews would load once hovering over the rom. Side note, running the noir black theme, i do have system folder art by them as well. Would that disallow the previews? 
Ah! Previews (as in the ones you place in for example Sony Playstation/preview) are the screenshots you see by pressing the MENU/FUNC button on the handheld.
And yep, splash is only for a quick second or so. It isn’t meant for anything other than to confirm to you what you chose.

Ahhh ok. So, using scrappy to get the previews, boxart, and splash should download and put them into the right folders, then i press menu/function key to view? Or do I have to put them into the proper folder (say the one you listed)? Appreciate the newbie out!

Yes, Scrappy will put them in the right folders 
Just make sure your artwork actually supports those outputs, not all of them do.

Great! I got them to activate. Then i did a deep dive in the discord comments to help as well. @xonglebongle still no plans for video previews?
