Did u update it from Scrappy’s advanced tools via ota? If yes, then from which version did you update it?

That’s the issue. No need to do fresh install. Just install full package without removing any files from application folder.

Thanks, I was able to get to the dashboard now.

The dashboard is quite attractive! I really wish that it provided a log of failed games *after* the scrape completed, if that’s something you’d like to implement. (Scraped 2 games, 3 failed isn’t particularly helpful for finding roms to rename.)

And now I have a problem. I renamed some folders, so now they don’t have art anymore. I had scrappy discover folders again, ran Scrappy on them, and it generated the art, but none of it is displayed in MUOS. Any ideas?

Select core from them. Set core as directory.

Ah, I had recursive set already and didn’t consider that it might not apply after a rename. I’ll try that. Thanks. (Scrappy was finding art for each game, but it can’t apply them without the core assigned?)

I got it working, but here’s some information about what went wrong:

I selected recursive for all subdirs. I just now checked through all of them, and MUOS didn’t apply the core recursively. It seems it can only apply to the next folder down, not two further. Here’s my directory structure, for clarity:
roms/fbneo/horizontal/beatemup(hori/

horizontalwas getting the correct core assigned but /beatemup(hori) was not.

Anyway, I assigned cores manually to each subdir and now it’s working! Thanks for your help.

Annnnnnnnnnnd another issue. I just installed the fluent templates for scrappy, but they’re not available in the scrappy menu. I checked to see they’re in the right place, and they’re there alongside the built-in templates. Any thoughts?

It’s not available for your device. Still you can see them by disabling filter templates option from settings.
