Box art was shown on Canada Goose but after patching it’s not present even though it exists in info/catalogue folder.
Also, in Storage Options I can’t migrate Metadata Catalogue to SD1. The script runs but the setting stays at SD2. It seems that the script is able to copy data but not to delete it.
So as a result I have the same files in both catalogues, but even then it won’t display anything for any console.
Even though it works, I have noticed an issue with roms folder name parsing. When I set roms/<system> to match the names in info/catalogue/<system> those consoles that have “ - “ in their names like NES, SNES and Genesis won’t have any box art attached to them and muOS won’t be able to tell which emulator to use.
Thanks for your useful information.
After applying the fix, I was able to resolve most of the box art issues.
However, the box art in the following WonderSwan folder still won’t display.
info/catalogue/Bandai WonderSwan-Color
Has anyone been able to get it to display as well?
After following those steps and launching one game,
I noticed that the correct box art directory was created.
The box art was not displayed because the directory name was incorrect.
Incorrect : info/catalogue/Bandai WonderSwan-Color
Correct : info/catalogue/Bandai WonderSwan Color
After migrating to Silly Goose, we users will need to change the directory names of our box art.
FC, SNES, MSX, WonderSwan, etc.
